"Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they have the heart."

Thank you for choosing to share your time and energy with kidsPACK. Feeding thousands of kids every week is a tall task, one we could not accomplish without YOU!

Take a moment to read over some volunteer FAQs OR scroll down to sign up for available volunteer shifts.

How do I volunteer for kidsPACK?

Complete the volunteer application; volunteers MUST complete the application and sign the required waiver in order to move forward with selecting shifts. Select a month to volunteer and select your volunteer shift(s). Once signed up, you will receive a confirmation email once you are on the schedule.

Will I need to complete a volunteer application each time I sign up for a volunteer shift?

Volunteer applications are only completed once. Each time you sign up for a volunteer shift, you will only be prompted to input your name and email address.

What is the minimum age for volunteering?

All independent volunteers must be 16 years of age or older. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult at all times while volunteering.

How do I cancel or change a volunteer shift?

Once a volunteer has completed their application, an online profile is created. In the profile, volunteers can cancel and change shifts. The portal also allows volunteers to update their contact information and track volunteer hours.

Does kidsPACK offer community service opportunities?

All kidsPACK volunteer opportunities can count towards academic community service hours. After completing your hours, a kidsPACK staff member will sign any necessary documentation.

Please call our offices at 863-727-7927 if you are seeking to fulfill court-ordered community service hours.  Court-ordered community service hours are approved on a case-by-case basis due to the population served by our organization. Documentation for these hours cannot be signed without prior approval.

What will I be doing when I volunteer?

Volunteer assignments include packing meals, sorting food, warehouse cleaning, and organizing, and other volunteer-appropriate tasks.
